What is a TRX and how do I use it?
TRX is a suspension training system that uses two handles attached to ballistic nylon straps that are then attached to a fixed object such as a wall, squat rack, tree or joist. There are several other brands of suspension trainers out there. In fact, one of our favorites is actually made here in Colorado and the owners are friends. So a big shout out to Monkii and Monkii Dan. Shameless plug aside, all suspension trainers work very similarly. You mount them above you and use the handles to pull, push and perform every exercise you can think of. You make the exercise more challenging by increasing your angle, and less challenging by standing more upright. You will see how this works in the instructional videos below.
